SHIELD provides short-term assistance to address immediate health and safety needs and primarily serves individuals referred through trusted healthcare and community partners.

You may be eligible for assistance if you:

• Are 60 years of age or older, or are an adult with documented disabilities 
• Live on a fixed or limited income 
• Are experiencing difficulty accessing food, medications, medical supplies, or other essential care
• Are a local resident
• Are able to provide basic documentation, if requested
